Around 1880 Cheret’s 3 stone lithographic process gave artists the opportunity to use colors and more intricate designs. The most skillful artists were able to master this process and use all variations of color, mix design and text, and achieve stunning and powerful visuals. We can consider it the beginning of modern advertising. Enjoy the different styles whether they be by lesser known artists or by the famous Toulouse-Lautrec, Alphonse Mucha, Lucian Bernhard, Ludwig Hohlwein, Leonetto Cappiello, or Marcello Dudovich to mention only a few.
