Several licensing options for Rights-Managed images and video clips are available:
Licenses for Editorial or Commercial uses, Special Agreements, or Scholarly via e-commerce. See details below.
Editorial & commercial products: the license and price quotes are based on product/project specifications.
To quickly obtain a price quote register on the website and:
send a request to info@scalagroup.com with details on the project.
or
search, select the media and click on “Request Price” from the image preview page, the lightbox, or the selected media drop down menu, and a price quote will be sent to you as soon as possible. carry out a price request providing all the necessary information about the product/project.
Existing agreements:
If your Company already has an existing agreement with Scala, after registering on the website, you will be contacted and the Basic account will be upgraded to Premium enabling image downloads. For further information or quote requests, contact info@scalagroup.com.
Licenses for Scholarly uses / E-commerce:
Scholarly licenses/uses are available for most digital files and in most cases the licenses are available for direct online purchase and download. Simply register on the website, making sure to select the “E-Commerce Only for Scholarly use” option, to be enabled to access the cart and complete the purchase immediately and autonomously. Digital files not available for immediate download will be clearly indicated in the cart and you will be able to quickly obtain a price request by clicking “price request” or contacting info@scalagroup.com.
Please note Scholarly use is defined as follows:
Articles in peer-reviewed journals, essays written by experts (researchers, professors, scientists), thesis. It is generally for an academic/specialized audience. Not for the general market/trade.
Please note: No other licenses (except Scholarly) are currently available via e-commerce.
